Orohids of Hawaii coconut

Pages: 1 6 replies

Hi, does anyone know about these Orohids of Hawaii coconut mugs? They appear to be fakes, but...

Thanks!

Here is the Ooga Mooga entry for that mug. http://www.ooga-mooga.com/cgi-bin/all/mug.cgi?mode=view&mug_id=107

The Ooga-Mooga page doesn't explain the typo on the bottom stamp of the mug in question.

Doesn't make sense, why would anyone fake a generic coconut mug, dime-a-dozen. Probably just a typo ala "Tiki Fram" on this one: http://www.ooga-mooga.com/cgi-bin/all/mug.cgi?mode=view&mug_id=816

You are probably right, and one of the mugs on the OM page does have the same typo stamp. Hawaii is misspelled on both
As well.

Wow, you're right! I didn't even notice that.

Yeah you wonder why they would knock off this mug. But on most posted at OM, the label is in a different format. Did OoH produce the concentric label too?
