I am happy to report that in this time of shoddy, badly researched news media work, our favorite drink alchemist has yet another decent piece published about his work and Tiki history in general :) :

The Bum is getting a lot of recognition these days !

Jeff Berry is interviewed in a short article in the Feb/Mar 2014 issue of "Garden & Gun." According to the front cover, they're doing an unrelated feature on "southern cocktails" this month. A friend of mine found this issue, and the Jeff Berry article inside, at a Lowe's store of all places. Then I found this magazine for sale at my local Sam's Club last night. The article is available online at the moment, read it before it disappears.
