I found this piece today. It measures 37" long x 19" wide, and 3/8" thick. It is made out of heavy wood and has a little curvature so I'm think it was intended to be used. Overall it is in excellent condition. There is a small area where the paint is starting to crack and a little wear to the bottom and edges. I've searched for the maker based on the signature on the bottom S Weaver, but unfortunately came up empty handed. Any help with identifying the maker or determining the age would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe |

I purchased one of those a few years ago at Big Lots. I believe they had a couple of styles. |

Very recent mass-produced. But even I got one when it came out, because it was a nice wood boogie board for my son, and the design was not that bad :) |

It is a Skim Board. Thrown on the wet sand when the surf recedes, and the rider jumps on it skimming into the shore break waves. |
