As many of us seem to be memebers of the jet set I'm suggesting this thread for stitching together a Drinkers Guide to the World at Large so folks on the go will know where it's worth dropping a couple dozen bucks, pounds, yen or, euros when drinking out in a strange town. |

Exxxx-ce-lllennnnt idea! I am of to Boston later this month. What I had planned to do was ask around Tiki Central for help info on getting to Kowloon from downtown Boston, we will not have a motorcar. Anyone has that info, great. Otherwise, any input on Boston as a whole? Where to go in good old Boston? midnite midnite |

Ah, Boston. We went there in search of Tiki, but came back with just The Kowloon is unfortunately a long way out of Boston, and as we The bar we enjoyed the most isn't really the kind of place we'd normally go for. So on the plus side, you have well made & very large martinis, comfortable leather Trader Woody |

Made the Sundowner from "Intoxica" for the first time last night. It's from the Kon Tiki chain and it packs a wollop! This is one of those drinks where the end result tastes much better than it sounds. 1 1/4 ounces cognac We sipped it slowly while listening to the record "Cruising Along the Wailua River". |

Totally agree, Jabbo! Tried it a few weeks ago and really liked it. (looks good with a glowing ice cube as well, but almost everything does.) -martin |

I made up this drink at a drunken tikified party at my house: I call it "The kreeper" 1oz 151 rum Shake with ice and strain into a 12oz tiki mug. Fill with club soda and stir gently. Mabey it's already been invented I don't know I'm not a bartender but try this and you will know why it's called "The Kreeper" It's a nice tropical backard party drink, enjoy...
