Glass Floats,,where to buy?

Pages: 1 5 replies

Looking for a glass float any suggestions on where to buy?
Thanks

do you want authentic antique? They can be expensive. I've seen them in antique shops here in the islands for as much as 300 smacks for a big one. Try ebay for small ones, and an occasional new large one. Also the tropical decor places usually have them. Good luck.

Just hit the antique malls. It's hit and miss, but I usually find the 12 inch or so ones with the netting for about $75. Smaller (4-6 inch) go for $25. The most massive one I have I got for $110 and it's near 2 feet. All real ones, not decor pieces.

On Ebay, the shipping might be huge, and there are so many it's a pain to even look for them.

The inexpensive ones on ebay are replicas. The replicas I've delt with are pretty good - as long as you buy the ones that are held up with nautical rope and not twine, string or anything else. These ones are made in indonesia somewhere and are actually quite sturdy (not as sturdy as the real ones, though)

EDIT
Bensons in HB has them here:

i cant tell where you're located (that could help a bit...)
but: Michael's Crafts has new floats (they're nationwide)

i've also found new, big ones at a Party Supply place here in seattle, i wasnt expecting to see them there.. so if you're in a big city that could be a resource for you..

HI.....
We have floats on our website & on ebay: http://www.fallingcocos.com or ebay seller: fallingcocos. We will give discounts to TC members for sure. We are in San Diego ....so if you are local or nearby (so CA), you can pick it up or we can meet somewhere. My husband is always doing business up near orange county. Hope that helps.....
