The inexpensive ones on ebay are replicas. The replicas I've delt with are pretty good - as long as you buy the ones that are held up with nautical rope and not twine, string or anything else. These ones are made in indonesia somewhere and are actually quite sturdy (not as sturdy as the real ones, though) Check your PM EDIT "Hey, at least I'm housebroken."
