thanks for posting!! we're going to vermont in the fall to "see the colors" ~ i was trying to convince my lovely husband to stay overnight in canada..and now i have pics to prove how cool that is!

i'm having less luck convincing Todd, that Hale Tiki and the Mai Kai count as being close to new england..

Some of the rooms are slightly tiki-fied...

Last time we were there, the missus and me had a room with a small (fake) bamboo trim sofa-table-chair set and 3 paintings of Polynesian natives on the walls.

But not much more than that in the rooms... the big attraction is the bar, of course... along with the breakfast room, which is more low-key but still of interest.
