Recipe: Bounty Rum recipes

I managed to get hold of a bottle of Bounty Rum from St Lucia and dug up a couple of recipes. It's nice, easy-going stuff.

St Lucia Jumbi
3 Ounces pineapple juice
2 Ounces grapefruit juice
dash Angostura bitters
3 ounces orange juice
3.5 ounces Bounty rum
0.5 ounce grenadine
1.5 ounces Coco Lopez

Pop all in a shaker and shake 'til frothy. Serve in supertall glass over crushed ice. Garnish with orange slice.

The Pirates Tea
1 Ounce Bounty rum
3 Ounces passion fruit juice
1 Ounce vodka
0.5 ounce Creme de menthe
Put small handful of crushed ice in a blender and blend all ingredients. Puor into tall glass half filled with crushed ice.

Cockspur, Mount Gay and the like could probably be substituted.

Thanks Trader Woody! My wife's sister and husband went last year to St. Lucia, and brought me back a bottle. I still haven't opened it, because I know it will be hard to get another bottle. But, with the recipes you posted, maybe . . . just maybe, I will make myself a Bounty Rum drink, now and again.
