Just came across this website: Looks like they have a pretty wide selection of record players, radios, clocks, phones, etc. And the prices aren't too bad either. A lot of the turntable play CDs and tapes too. I especially like their reproduction of the "Blue Bird": |

Those console systems and radios are gorgeous! However, their "antique" phones are all push-button! You can get the real thing for less on eBay. --cynner (rotary phone collector) |

Careful - some of those "reproductions" look like a dreaded Crap-o-Phone!!!! Get a used vintage one on Ebay..... |

I have the reproduction Bluebird and one of Crosley's portable turntables and I love them both! I always wanted an original Sparton Bluebird but as you can imagine I couldn't afford one - so you get the looks of a 20th Century icon for an affordable price! I haven't really ever listened to the radio but damn does it look good on my bookshelf! The record player was a birthday gift from my parents this year and I've been listening the hell out of my exotica and Hawaiian thrift store LP's on it. I already have a stereo turntable but these records sound great on the Crosley - you don't even notice the popping and clicking of the imperfect vinyl. |
