My friend who designs and creates beautiful stained glass windows surprised me with a tiki kiln carving for my birthday! I asked her how she did it and she she said she carved the tiki face out of fiber paper then melt 1/4" gold iridescent glass into the mold at 1480 degrees. The rest sounded really complex.. Here it is: The pictures doesn't really show the gold flecks very well. But when the light shines on it, it's really gold! |

Hi Benzart! I have this picture too. You can see pretty close up with this one. There is an amber piece of glass in the back (you can sort of see the edges of it). Cheers! |
