My friend who designs and creates beautiful stained glass windows surprised me with a tiki kiln carving for my birthday!

I asked her how she did it and she she said she carved the tiki face out of fiber paper then melt 1/4" gold iridescent glass into the mold at 1480 degrees. The rest sounded really complex..

Here it is: The pictures doesn't really show the gold flecks very well. But when the light shines on it, it's really gold!
