Wayne C. Sit and his family owned and ran Hoe King Lo and the South Pacific Restaurant until they sold them and retired in the 1980s. You could enjoy a cocktail in the Tang Lounge which had "Oriental" drinks such as Virgin's Soulmate, Typhoon Tessie, Shanghai Lil, Navy Grog, or delicious Mai Tai. I'm including a picture of the Bumatay tiki mug from our collection which has "Hoe King Lo" stamped on the bottom.
