Oceanic Arts: Vintage Tiki Collection Auction 2, October 15-16, 2022

I saw via Spike's instagram that there's a second (and final) auction coming next month. It appears that the online catalog will become available on September 23. There's also another printed collectors catalog shipping soon.

I have a feeling that just like last time, I won't be able to afford a single thing they auction off. There are some people with a LOT of pandemic savings out there...haha!

Yeah, I don't expect to actually afford anything either, but I did briefly consider a flight out to attend one of the days and then came to my senses.

I actually got a few items and a bunch of shirts. One of the items I won is the “bamboo” wooden sign. I’ve only been in OA once a number of years ago And I remembered this sign. It feels like taking up the torch in a way, so I’ve started studying the bamboo stuff
