If ever a country was more fantastically geared for plastic escapism, I’ve not heard of it. Maybe New Hampshire pre 1776. Additionally, if ever a parliamentary republic had worse liquor rules and selection, I’ve also not heard of such a place. BUT… The rum choice up in this Northern piece happens to be great. No embargo, so full Cuban selection. Wray and Nephew. Hart and Son. Every other mixable option too. The point of my mini rant is—am I noticing anything special here? Or am I just being childishly positive? Could I achieve the same things in say….Cleveland? Perhaps Albuquerque? You guys are the best, don’t ever change. Maybe you could drink a bit less and hit the gym once in a while and get more lather on your private parts but you know who am I to judge? Love, -G.
