Name:Puri Santrian Description: Although there are no tikis (and therefore technically violates my primary standard for a tiki bar), it does have everything an authentic tiki bar in the tropics should. It features a very high palm thatch roof and is open air, thereby allowing the tropical breezes to blow. The fragrance of plumeria wafts over the warm breezes. During the day, red hibiscus blossoms are in abundace. The furniture and decor also match the tiki theme. Balinese teak wood furniture, in excellent condition, and a wonderful candle-lit glow create the ambience. The tiki auora is also created because it has lush landscaping, and several water features. It's location, too, is merely a short jungle walk from the ocean through the hotel's grounds. The waitstaff are clad with plumeria over the ears and wearing Balinese sarongs. |
