Hey Al,
I see you live in Sunset Beach, do you or did you live on Sunset Island? I think you used to live next door to my bass player at the time - Larry.
He lived on the second floor of this apartment right in front of the canal with a boat dock down below. There was a tiki carver (maybe you) next door. Larry told me he carved his girlfriend some high heel shoes with tikis for the heels.
We played a few parties there and I remember during a song I look up and the tiki carver was hanging off the porch railing 2 stories up like a mad man.
So brah, was it you?

Larry came to the Sunset Ape gig!! he would have loved to see you!! He is in SanDiego now.
There is an Urban Myth that i fell from the balcony that night... but i assure you that as cats always land on their feet, apes don’t fall out of trees. Did you see the Navy Seal want’a’be swan dive from the roof of our two-story place into the sallow Sunset Canal?
I still have the famous Tiki Shoes! Under lock and key.
