Tiki Album Covers

Ok, a thread for posting photos of lp covers with TIKIS or TIKI MUGS on them. I'm just curious to see how many there are.

I got thinking about the subject when I found this lp at a garage sale. I was going to pass it by because of its poor condition, when the glasses on the table jumped out at me.

The Cavaliers - "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and Other Harmonica Favorites". Could the photo have been shot at Trader Vic's?

Here are a few more I own:

Here's a few newer ones from the Tiki Tones (featuring Shag) and one from the 5O Foot Combo from Belgium.

The 50 Foot Combo feature Tiki on quite a few of their records:

Sabu, very good juxtaposition of the Martin Denny Forbidden Island cover with the Bomboras cover. Not identical, but you can definitely tell that one was based on the other. Here's a couple more, and maybe I can put up some more later.

Shag did this one. The background is from a kitchen placemat.

Beautiful Art Chantry cover for Estrus.

I don't think so although the pic origins from a Bali Hai menu cover.

Check this site for more amazing covers!!

Klas, you goofed, off course that's the Goof! That was the only good Bali Hai menu cover they ever made...
Once again the question arises:
WHO, and WHY was he the Goof? Who came up with him and where? Already at Two Harbours on Catalina? Will we ever know?

Isn't the Goof supposed to be Fletcher Christian ... ? A Christian who's given up all his good British values and is settling in for a nice long stay on Pitcarian with his honey?

Ooops, I thought the Goof looked a lot more goofy than the fearsome guy on the menu cover :D

Here's some more.......

Damn Lopaka, you must have a helluva collection.

Here's one I found the other day:

Everybody - thanks for posting your collections. A lot of great cover art here!

Lopaka, based on postcards and menus I have, that "Kuuipo" cover looks like it was photographed at the old Don The Beachcomber's in Hawaii. What does puamana think?
