Cool almost tiki restaurant on the westside

There is a cuban place on sepulveda called "El rincon" just south of culver blvd that has just gone tropical kitsch with a bullet. It has always had killer cuban food and now has tropical decor to match.Even the servers wear great hawaiian shirts.I know it aint tiki but it's damn good what ever you call it!. Enjoy.

I've eaten there a lot since it's near my work, but I don't know if I would think of it as Tiki. It's very colorful and Carribean looking to me. But I highly recommend it anyway. As far as Cuban food goes, I like it way better than Versailles. And they have a very tasty and refreshing mango juice.

well for us on the west side(west of sepulveda), it's the purlpe orchid,islands, el rincon or?????? .Let me know of anyplace that keeps the tiki urge in control (methadone vs the big "H").
