I was just browsing through Meyer's enormous Oceanic Art book when I realised that one of the illustrations showing a helmet mask from Vitu Island was incredibly similar to a mug I'd brought back from Spain. So THAT is what that mug looks like! I remember it from the thread where you'd taken the photo from above. Never seen it before - very nice! Note to self: Maybe Humuhumu was right about going to Spain after all... |
