SF Grand Prix - Pro Bike Racing on the streets of San Francisco! - Beyond Tiki

Lance and the US Postal team will be racing, as well as many other riders who competed in the Tour de France. If you've never seen a world-class bike race in person, it's pretty exciting. Check it out: http://www.procyclingtour.com/race_overview.cfm/race_id/13 The Pineapples will be VIP-ing it in a corporate tent this year, but last year we happened upon a great spot to watch the race. We arrived early out near the Palace of Fine Arts and decided to pop into Liverpool Lil's for a bloody mary. It turned out the race went right by the front door, and they had the whole thing live on the tv in the pub. We ate and drank and when we saw the riders approach on the telly, we'd dash outside and watch them race past. It was a great day and a fun way to watch the race. I highly recommend it.
