eBay: Help a filmaker make his film by buying tiki mugs...

Pages: 1 2 replies

A good friend of mine, Kai Roath, is making a film called "Aloha from the Himilayas" in which he retraced the steps of famed explorer Peter Byrne. He trekked to Nepal to find the infamous yeti with jackass/Wild Boyz member Chris Pontius and then-girlfriend Becky Bell (who acts as yeti bait wearing a hula skirt and dancing with open beer cans). He shot some amazing footage, was treated by the Nepalese with open arms and introced one community to the karaoke machine. He is in the editing process and is near completion. Unfortunately his funding has run out to finish this masterpiece and he has decided to sell some of his belongings to fund the film. He asked me to post some of his duplicate mugs on eBay. The starting price on them is admittedly high for these, he doesn't really want to sell them.

Here's the link to the story written about Kai's film before he left for Nepal:

His mugs will go on sale Monday Oct 11 at 4 PM PST.

Please help out this tiki enthusiast make his dream come true by supporting his cause if you can.

***** check this post soon!; as of now,I haven't finished my rough draft for my witty, ergontropic response.*****

(yeah, I made 'ergontropic' up. But that's OK because it seems to be a good word, and when I finish making up my new language, I'll insert it right between "eboltulize" and "estrogen-o'-meter".)

He just asked me to add another one

it's a Trader Vic's mug
