Does anyone remember the Bonzo Dog Band or the Cheap Suit Sarranaders?

Cool wierd bands that would keep you from ever meeting a girl.

Any memories?

also check out the holy modal rounders.

Bonzo Dog Band appeared in Magical Mystery Tour as a kind of '50's crooner band and did their song "Death Cab For Cutie" complete with a "censored" stripper as I recall. My freinds and I were such huge Bonzo fans at the time we went to see the movie when it played the midnites. After Bonzo Dog Band's performance we stood up, cheered uproariously and left the theater. Their humor was (as the British say) spot on. Check out Neil Innes' solo LP "How Sweet To Be An Idiot (if you can find it). Someone should definately cover the song "When Yuba Does The Rhumba On The Tuba Down In Cuba"!
