allready know those answers,closed in 1976,and dumpster diving during it's demo.it was a KON TIKI (STEPHEN CRANE)SHERATON cleveland.

On another note... I discovered a matchbook yesterday from the Polynesian Village in the Hotel Cleveland. If this hotel is even still standing, it has long since changed names.

Any idea where this hotel was?

TIKIBARS,another qestion,is there a road trip up date? I will be driving to so.fla.the last 2 weeks of feb.need a TC trip ticket sort of speak.I-75?,I-95?,east coast of fla.? or west coast of fla?targets to shoot for along the way(must see locations,or people to meet)going all the way to KEY WEST .shopping all the way to key west ,kill some brain cells,turn around pick up things all the way back. saw the guy yesterday ,scored alot of new stuff.including the paddle for the outrigger canoe,some of the hanging lights,more carved panels.and a box of menus. and the best....under a pile of old chairs (from the KON TIKI) the 2 bar stools for the Witco bar..to Bigbro,ther was a auction he did buy it all,said he had 3days to remove.he said he had to leave alot(DAMN)showed him your book,he loved it ,gonna get him a copy.you still want to talk to him?
