Foot in Mouth Disease

Pages: 1 1 replies

I've been reminis... um, thinking about times I've really put my foot in it & twisted.

I like to put "ness" at the end of people's jobs or titles when asking them how it's going, like asking the Janitors "How's your janitaryness doing?" This is fun & a little silly, but it has backfired: I asked a friend who worked in Quality Assurance "How's your QA-ness?" Even worse was when I asked his wife how things were going with the Expedited Merchendise Processing (EMP)...

I think ness as a suffex means nose in Old Germanic.

That is funny tho.
