...what a 'brilliant' idea!

Queen...or should I say, the remaining members of Queen to tour with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. Can you say 'lame tribute/reunion tour'. Paul Rodgers singing Queen songs? Kind of a stretch dontcha think?

Read all about it:

P.S. this wasn't intended as a'suck' or 'hate' post...

They should have got the guy from the electric 6 - he does a mean Freddy Mercury impersonation.

Trader Woody
"I've got the hair like Brian May blues" - Half Man Half Biscuit

I heard that Paul Rodgers loks great in white spandex.

Who would be a decent choice to front a Queen tour?

David Lee Roth?

Hmmmmmm.

Sorry, David Lee can't take time off from his day job as an EMT.

This tour has got "Spinal Tap" written all over it.

I clicked on this thread expecting to hear that Ol' Elizabeth had done something naughty....

Damn! Queen is one of my top 5 faves, and Paul Rodgers SUC...er, I mean, is sub-good(in my own humble opinion). I think (and I think about this alot), George Michael would have been a better choice. He "rocked" some Queen songs at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert! A coupla years ago word on the streets was that Robbie Williams was gonna do a tour as Queens singer. Even THAT woulda been better than Paul Rodgers! Come on!

Actually, the remaining members of Queen should just join up with the Darkness and creat a Monster group called the Dark Queen. That would be SWEEEET!

C'mon...what's wrong with Paul Rogers...
don't judge him just by Bad Company and
post BC....he's still "all Right Now."
I'm not a Queen fan...so I agree that
it's not a comfortable fit.

No, if they joined up with Brian Connolly that'd be Sweet.

Touchet!

Weren't they going to do this with George Michael a few years back?

What about Billy Mack? I loved him in "Love Actually" - he has just the right amount of camp.
