New Carver Found

On our way to lunch yesterday in Channel Islands Harbor we spotted this sign holding up a garage door

Toby said he has been carving for about a year (his wife Cathy also carves and does some of the painting). He had not heard of Tiki Central.

He likes carving large Tikis....

His prices were reasonable. We bought one.

I gave him the TC info and asked him to post there. We'll see if he does. Toby said he started carving after losing his job. He had access to palm logs, started carving Tikis to see if he could make the rent payment. There is a large vacant lot across from his garage. He put a Tiki and the sign on the lot at a busy intersection (Harbor & Channel Islands Blvd), but the lot owner made him move it. I need to take a pic of the tiki I got.
