I will trade this cool suit for anything tiki

I've had this suit in my closet for close to 10 years now. I traded it with an old neighbor of mine for some albums he had. He says he bought it in the early 70's and only wore it once or twice. I've only worn it out once, and in a couple of photos. It's in perfect condition, although it's a bit dusty on top from years of being in the closet.

even has the original hanger!

The tag reads: L'AVION. 100%Cotton. Size L.
All the stiping you see is done in gold metalic thread, and the hanger reads: The TREND with Schwisters.

I would like to trade this for any kind of tiki trinket, especially a mug or maybe a cool Trader Vic style hat.

Thanks for looking, let me know what you think!

Geez Fink...wish I could fit into that
suit...but I think the pants would be too
short. Can you imagine all the cars I
could sell wearing those pants! I could
be just like the dudes in "Used Cars."

Oh man, I was forced to wear a suit like that as a kid! Boot as well to go with the Ricky Ricardo do! Please make it go away bad bad man. lol

D

O.k.,but only if you send the white patent leather shoes and matching belt along with it.

Didn't Schneider, the building superintendent
from the One Day At A Time tv show have a
ladykiller outfit like that?

HT

I was thinkin everyone's favorite landlord from 3's company.

no Mr. Furley was more of the leisure suit type but still stylish none the less

M

Schneider did enjoy a denim vest, though.

That would be a great Halloween costume with the vest, tool belt accoutrement, and the cute Burt Reynolds wanna-be mustache. Didn't he kind of have that Burt laugh also.

MT

I think maybe we should see how it looks on someone first. Care to post a pic of you modeling the suit?

F

Just remember...You asked for it!

:D :D :D

Come on... who wants it? One mug, that's all I ask. :)

Awesome...I can almost hear in the best Ron Burgundy tone: "Stay Klassy, San Diego."

T

fink, you look just like Mr. Mike from the old SNL shows...

D

Finkdaddy-that look would be complete with a little gold spoon nestled in your chest hairs-too fab!

Holy pimp juice!
I'm with senioraqua, that is very Ron Burgundy.
Sadly I used to wear stuff just like that in the 70's.
Got any platforms to go with?

MT

The Huggy Bear called, he wants his suit back! :D

Finkdaddy...I think you're gonna get an
offer on the suit pretty soon....but you
will probably have to include an autographed
picture of yourself with it....that's
sorta the documenting evidence that could
give it added value!
