Tiki Mugs going for 100+ bucks on Ebay!!! - Collecting Tiki

I heard that it went for $180 the last time it was on Ebay, which was quite a while ago. What is the most you've seen a tiki mug go for on Ebay? I noticed a Shag mug go for over 200 bucks the other day... For me, the fun in Tiki is getting the rare ones at a reasonable price, not hundreds of dollars! What does everyone else think about this? It is out of hand?

I did pay $100 for a shag mug, only because I am a fan, it was the cheapest I had seen on ebay and it was my fathers day present. The thing that gets me is the one person selling Shag mugs and lamps, who obviously was a reseller because you can go to their site from the sell page amd they list shirts and mugs. The mugs aren't available at the site, surprise, but every month or two they are selling "the last one". Ahh I am just in a foul mood today. Hell I live in MD
