Mainlander mug question

I think they have it mislabled, because usually a 6 1/4" is a smaller version of the mug. I believer the large version is 8" |

The Mainlander was produced in two sizes. A more commonly seen version 5 1/4 - 1/2" and the less common 6 1/4" size. |

I have two, one is 6 1/4" at the other is about 1/8" larger It's not an exact science, that's for sure. Basically, one was around 5 1/2", the other was approximately an inch taller. Not sure on the ratio of smaller to larger in terms of production totals, but I see a lot more smaller ones. Strange thing, my larger style mug is not from the Mainlander. It is from Johnny Quong's place in SLC. One of my fave styles. Very different. |
