I saw this auction within the first 1/2 hour and threw a bid on it right away. Not like I can afford it, but I thought at least if there's a bid on it, no one could pull the old add-a-Buy-it-Now-on-the-side-scam.

Since I never cruise e-bay, I actually appreciate notices on interesting e-bay auctions... and the hard hitters know about them anyway.
As much as I understand collecting items from specific locations, in my opinion this is not a very well designed mug. A too small Maori face, with generic texture around it.

I actually agree, I prefer the Mauna Loa drum mug (my personal must have) Here it is again:

And still too expensive for me

It cracks me up seeing these big $$$$ items just sit for days at, say $40, with everyone just watching and waiting for the enevitable feeding frenzy in the final seconds.

And I agree, I think the black mug is nothing special.But the drum mug, now that is sweeeeeet.
