I know they are made in the U.S. and there have been white and brown shiny-glazed variations of them. I also know this style is featured in THE BOOK OF TIKI and originated from the Aku Lounge in Lincoln, Nebraska. Can anyone provide some more info about this? I have seen dealers on Ebay claim mugs are vintage when I know they're brand new. They may be old mugs, but, if they're in "perfect condition" they may be new. Just a word of caution. Mahalo, Al
