Last Show of This Is Cinerama - Hollywood - Beyond Tiki

I just saw this film last night and it was fantastic!. It's basically a 2 hour advert for the wonders of Cinerama. Here's what a friend of mine had to say about it: "Wanted to let all my friends know that I saw "This Is Cinerama" today at the historic Cinerama Dome and was not only surprised to hear that this is the very first time the theatre has ever actually presented a movie in the 3-Strip "Cinerama" format that was originally intended for the theatre but that the movie itself was a really entertaining travelogue across the globe circa 1952. Really great show! I loved the bathing beauties and stuntmen doing there pyramid water skiing and boat stunts threw the gorgeous Florida Everglades, Scotland's castles, Vienna!, Venice!, Spain!. Flying all over the U.S. (and under the Golden Gate bridge). Informative and sometimes unintentionally hilarious narration. Some 50's crowd shots to die for, and you can check out the projection room after the show!" There's one last show at 7:30pm. (We ran into King Kukulele and he's already bummed he'll be across the street at the LA film school film fest instead of seeing the show.)
