New Hawiian Store and Restaurant in San Francisco

Pages: 1 7 replies

A new Hawiian store will be opening mid-April in San Francisco at 1731 Buchannan Mall in Japantown. A good friend of mine Tricia Allen will be there in mid-May doing island tattoos. You can check out her website on Alohaworld (Tattoo News).

Also - a new restaurant is already open - "A Taste of Aloha" at 520 4th Street near Bryant. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

Friends from Oahu are part owners of both.

Excellent post, delphiniumangel.

Always good to see the hula on the mainland!

I just found an ad about a restaurant, I think called Atoa "A taste of Aloha" Its in San Francisco on fourth street. It says "th Bay Area's newest home for Hawaiian music and Polynesian Revue."
Anyone heard or been to this place?

Thanks, it looks like it opened not too long ago. Anyone gone yet?

Thought I would bump this up. Any reports on A Taste of Aloha? How's the food? How's the dancing? Are they even open? There website doesn't really have much info about the place.

Thanks
