Trader Vic's peanut butter sauce?

My friend raves about the peanut sauce at Trader Vic's (or is it a peanut butter sauce?).
I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I love all things peanut butter so I wanted to have it for my next party (maybe to spread on some king's hawaiin). I called Trader Vic's and they don't sell it and won't even let me buy some sides of it to go.
Anyone know the recipe?

Trader Vics peanut sauce is my favorite by far (and I've tried LOTS). But it's so thick, it's more of a paste than a sauce... it doesn't "dip" well. I'm not sure if it's listed in his cookbooks, I'll have to check later at home.
