Mama Kwan's Outerbanks North Carolina

Went there because it was listed in Tiki Road Trip. Food was awsome! Not enough tiki to be called a tiki bar. As I was looking around I could not find a single decoration that I would want for my house. My 8 year old daughter said "Our house is more tiki than this!". I was proud.

Got here on our trip to the Outer Banks last week. Awsome food! Good Thai and reasonably priced. We got a wahine mug and a 2-oz. shot glass that weren't too expensive. We'll be back. Loved the sign by the door "What's your hurry? You're already here!" Some tikis outside and a few indoors. Not a high TIPsy factor, but a good start to any vacation on the Banks! Check it out.

Has anyone visited Mama Kwan in the past 9 years? I'm visiting OBX this weekend and wonder if it is worth a stop.

Sad/curious: All of my "tiki" searches in OBX are turning up Parrotheads and light beer in metal bottles. Not unique to this location, I know.
