Just got an update email from Dave of Extinct Attractions announcing a DVD featuring Shag and the Shag With A Twist musical. Here's the info:

As you know we are planning on a Tiki Room historical DVD, and so we set out to get all the surviving Disney legends that did The TIKI Room. We have Wally Boag (Voice of Jose the bird, Thurl Ravenscroft (voice of a Tree and a bird), Alice Davis,
Rolly Crump (carved many Tikis), Harriet Burns and Blaine Gibson (sculpted and
painted the birds). But I also wanted to get the modern painter SHAG as well.
Why? Well he has several new paintings of the TIKI ROOM he did to raise money
for the new TIKI ROOM roof a few years back. I had been trying to get him for
some time (he is in no way retired and is very busy as a world class artist)

Shag has just designed several new 50th birthday art work pieces (and gave
us a sneak peek at his home)

He is a 50's-60's artist, and is really into Tikis....To make a long story short
he agreed to the interview on the tiki room, and we also were able to help him
put his new stage show based on his art work into a new DVD.

Yes we have the DVDs here and they are ready now, featuring a look at his new show and our own Joe Mishica, takes us on a tour of SHAG's swanky modern pad.

This DVD features an exclusive behind the scenes interview with SHAG himself,
and Cindy Bradley the shows producer and Chris Lang the man behind the wonnderful
music, plus a tour of shag's home and a look at the show!

He even shows us the new DISNEYLAND artwork he has done!

you can see a video preview and buy the new video now at:

The tiki room video is a ways off (hopefully mid summer)

We did give a preview of it to 600 tiki fans at the recent TIKI Oasis in Palm springs last week. So much fun there....

Yep, that Tiki Room preview was great! Can't wait for that DVD!
