History of Ukulele Exhibit-HB 5/21/05

This may have already been posted, but the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum is introducing their new Exhibit, "History of the Ukulele" on Saturday, May 21, 2005 2pm-7pm.

There will be some live performances and also a grand prize raffle of ukulele!

And here's the lineup:

UkeLeiMe's...Play from 2:00pm to 3:30pm
A 4 piece Ukelele based rock band from Orange County...They've played at various events from Sunset Beach to San Diego and points east as far as Lake Havasu Arizona.

Jim Beloff...Plays from 3:30pm to 4:00pm
Jim is featured in our instructional video and books as well as loaned us many uke's and photos for our exhibit...

Kolohe'Ukelele Club featuring Bobby Tomei...Plays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Bobby is well know for playing an uke/jazz sound

Bill Tapia....Plays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Bill is 97 years old, a legendary uke artist who still tours the country delighfully entertaining everyone...

Raffle for different prizes and an ukelele is featured at 6:00pm
