Life Mags

Pages: 1 4 replies

I have just run across some old (1961) life magazines.
I don't know if they are worth anything (do you)
It is amazing how many smoking ads there are.
Anybody collect them?

old life magazines are GREAT time capsules

my grandfather bequeathed on me LIFE mags from the 40s to the 60s, along with "Paris Match"

ads about tobacco, liquor and appliances abound. no firearms that i can recall tho.

(Baxdog-ster, how you doing buddy? Now, please don't take this to hard, but this thread of yours goes nowhere. What are you asking/saying/requesting? Please PM me and I'll provide you with some great examples of posts that go somewhere. Now, bend over.)

Life mags are fun to peruse, but value-wise are worth next to nothing on the (Ebay) market.
I suppose at one time they were collectible but now that everyone and their mother is selling on Ebay, they're literally a dime a dozen.

But fun to read! Yes! Retire on the profits, you will not.
