Okay, let's do it. I believe I can set us up with front and center seating for "Hawaii's Legendary Entertainer". The Coach House is an awesome little venue down the street from my pad - very intimate even from the worst seats (but the best seats rule!). Should we get a TC area of combined seats where we're all together? |

Here's what the Coach House told me... Hoku Ho (Don's daughter) goes on at 7:00pm Don Ho goes on at approx. 8:00pm There's a chance that they may be adding another band to the act which means that Don Ho might start playing at around 9:00pm. Tickets are $30/each. Holden |

It looks like we're going to be able to get a vip area at the event; front and center and likely without having to order dinner reservations (the food isn't bad, though). I'm working on Trader Vic's supplying Mai Tai Mix & Rum (quick and easy and the best "not from scratch") and I'm also trying to get a couple other very cool things lined up for the Ohana. So I'd like to recommend holding off on getting your tickets until I have all of this lined-up. Email me if you've got any questions at [email protected]. |

I'm working on trying to make this event a bit more TC friendly. Along with VIP seating, I've been in disussion with Trader Vic's to get Trader Vic's mai tai's in place for the night. They are, imho, the best non-scratch Mai Tai's to be found anywhere. Here's what I'm "trying" to do... This is all tentative...
A Trader Vic's Mai Tai generally goes for around $7.50 (I do not know what the Coach House will charge) so by buying 2 glasses & a drink voucher, you'll save $2.50. I need to know if this makes sense because as I've asked to vend, I've been asked to cover transportation (both band & eqpt.) and lodging for the entire band. I think this is a pretty fair deal and I'm only going to make 250 of them for the event. I'd appreciate some feedback from the Ohana on this! Mahaloz, |

I'm going to go ahead and get the block of 50 tickets with priority seating for Tiki Centralites. I'll work out the details on how to get the tickets this week to anybody interested - likely online at Tiki Farm but will let you know shortly. I live about 5 minutes from the Coach House and if I can work it out (I've got to get the band and their equipment to/from the show), will offer pre-event pupu's and mai-tai's at my pad, likely from 6-7pm for those who can make it and then we'll head over to the Coach House at 7pm. More info to follow soon. |

Here's a photo of the art that we're laying down onto the 11 oz. Old Fashioneds for the Don Ho Show... (The actual art on the mug will be in red print) As mentioned earlier, we're only making 250 and they'll go for $5 each, 2 for $10 or $2 for $15 and a Trader Vic's Mai Tai drink voucher. I'll post up the Tiki Farm VIP seating tickets on the Tiki Farm website early next week ($30 per ticket; same price as at the Coach House but with preferred seating). Mahaloz, |

Unfortunately, I will be in Idyllwild on the 27th, so I will miss this one... I will be at Humphrey's for a dinner and a concert (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy) on Friday, August 26th, though. I'll be at the Bali Hai for a cocktail around 5 pm. VIP seats are online at http://www.tikifarm.com and are already nearing sold-out. We've also got TVic Mai Tai's on board at the Coach House and we'll all be front & center together to watch Don talk on the phone. No pre-party at my pad (I'm booked solid the whole day) but perhaps afterwards we can all hang out at our Swank Pad? |
