A surf band called June Suckerfish Spawn (for those of you who know Roger, he's the guitarist) is playing the 1st Sunday of every month around 7-7:30 at The Purple Orchid in El Segundo. Don't forget to come toast to my new job, my new place, and my last weekend as an L.A. resident!!! I will be at the Orchid around 6:30pm. And remember--this IS a holiday weekend (no work on Monday), so the whole "I have to work tomorrow" excuse won't fly this time!!! :wink: |
