Art Crawl 8 will take place over the weekend of September 23rd – 25th. It is a free, self-guided tour promoting access and insight into this dynamic area where the future of art in Los Angeles is taking shape! The Art Crawl revels in all modes of art – painting, photography, graphic design, architecture, furniture, clothing design, sculpture, and the decorative arts as well. La Luz de Jesus Gallery (#3 below) will be featuring the artist SHAG. On Friday night, September 23rd all the galleries will be open from at least 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th galleries will be open from 12:00noon to 6:00pm, unless otherwise noted. Over 20 galleries are involved so far. A big event is planned at Maker Gallery (#6 below) on Saturday evening (9/24/05). They will have live entertainment that night, and on Sunday an afternoon mimosa party.
