Appleton Estate Extra

Last night I was looking to sip on some rum and found that all of my good sipping rum was gone and the liquor stores were closed. I use Appleton Estate Extra (aged up to 18 years) for mixing Mai Tais (along with St. James Martinique rum), so I thought I'd try sipping some. I have to say it didn't stand up to my favorite and much more expensive regular sippers, but it tasted pretty darn good. I would highly recommend this for a low cost sipping rum.
