At first, it sort of reminded me of the very common Trader Dick's Nugget Maori Tiki mug, with a different head (much cuter!) and hands (no thumbs up). I was thinking of bidding on it, but it seems like it is going to go for a lot, considering that there are more than 4 days left to the auction and it is already at 34 bucks. It's so great that to this day, unknown mugs can be unearthed.

On it - I saw a Mauna Loa mug last month with a Buy it NOw in it... but inbetween seeing the listing and hitting the page (and trying to stop my heart paliptations), someone bid on it, at $10.00, thereby nullifying the Buy It Now... I could have cried. Don['t know what the buy it now price was but I bet it was a damn sight less than the $100 it eventually went for!

Sven is right- it is really cool that new old mugs can still pop up from a place no one's heard of before!!
