Palama Tiki's Full-Body Moai

He stands 3' 8" tall. Here he is unpainted... and then with his pukao headdress painted the color of red scoria like the originals, and a dark gray basalt ahu. I took some liberties with the body style: although the Rapa Nui originals have man-breasts and pot-bellies, as an endurance athlete, I couldn't bring myself to carve a flabby Moai, so I buffed him up abit. I also stylized the arms and hands crossing the lower belly.

These things are gorgeous. Love to see one with the whole body/head done in the grey finish with the red headrest. Awesome work dude. You must have a moai forest happenin now :)
