The Beach Boys in Newport

Yep, these legends with whatever line-up thay have these days will be playing in Newport Beach ca. on Oct. 2.

I work for the City of Newport Beach doing graphics and have and will be working like crazy for the next couple of weeks making signs and banners for the Beach Boys concert. I'll be there, can't pass up a day outside listening to music having some cocktails. I guess I should get back to workmaking more of those banners.

Does anyone know the Beach Boys line-up these days?

The current Beach Boy's line-up is Mike Love, long time Beach Boy's Bassist Bruce Johnston, and whoever they can hire cheap.

It was an awesome show! Did anyone make it there?

Thanks to my wife's media connection, we got to meet Mike Love just before the show. He was very gracious and had a great attitude. It was pretty amazing actually meeting a living legend!

The Boys have a lot of folks backing them up these days but they still sound great and played all their hits including some doo wap songs from the fifties.
