I saw this & found it to be an interesting bit of info on the old trader vic skull mug, dated 1946.
Apparently the skull mug could be mail ordered with a batch of TV's hot buttered rum mix.

I like seeing those old ads or purchase orders for the collectible tiki items. Not unlike the brochure in BOT for the Sufferin' B's... 4 @ $6.95!

The "Trilogy of Terror" doll is one disturbing item. Anyone remember that movie? I do, unfortunately! That was some scary stuff. I can still see that little beast "Ack Ack Ack" with the knife.

I just bought two of the old Tepco skull mugs , the type used at TV's, priority shipping was over $10. Ghoulish, and VERY HEAVY, little monsters.

But, they are classic Tiki/Polynesian bar items...I'll be selling one in the Midnite Holiday Blow-Out.
