Lounge and Exotica band the Martini Kings say ALOHA!

hey everyone,
it is very cool to finally join tiki central!
our band is in los angeles and you may have caught us live at tiki oasis 5, saw us this season on hbo's six feet under,or heard us play at the derby where we play every burlesque monday.
we are releasing our 5th and 6th cd on the swingomatic label.we are excited to release our 5th(weekend in palm springs) as derek yaniger the best tiki artist goin did all the artwork.our 6th cd coming soon is called (tikis and bikinis) and contains a heavy dose of tiki and exotica
sounds.our band is all instrumental and consists of vibes,acoustic bass and drums primarily but our recordings also feature uke, guitar,organ, piano and alot of percussion.
the martini kings have just made our first motion picture called (camp burlesque)where we play alot of the music in our flick as well as perform in it.
camp burlesque was picked this year at the legendary teaseorama burlesque festival in san francisco as well as the miss exotic world pageant in helendale ca.
our film stars the top gals on the burlesque scene today as well as music by the martini kings, big sandy, john doe, dave alvin, matthew sweet, peter case and many more.erochica bamboo(miss exotic world)performs a few amazing tiki numbers in our film.also kitten deville a former miss exotic world co-stars.
