We always have a good showing of TC folks attend our shows, so this is a reminder to all that the Retro-Rama Antiques & Collectibles Show is happening in just a few days, returning for the 4th year to the historic Gulfport Casino (southern St. Petersburg, Florida) on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2005, 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The annual, holiday season Retro-Rama is a festive event, held in the Casino's old art deco-styled ballroom, and featuring exhibitors selling a colorful selection of vintage eclectica, including retro decor, art, linens & textiles, shabby chic, books, jewelry, bakelite, lamps & lighting, smalls, pottery, kitsch, kitchen, glassware, postcards, barware, primitives, tin toys, old holiday ornaments and accessories, advertising, old movie posters...anything that's old but cool! Several exhibitors will also be selling from their collections of vintage Florida souvenirs and memorabilia, including well-known Floridiana expert Larry Roberts, author of "Florida's Golden Age of Souvenirs: 1890-1930."

The show's a popular shopping venue for the surrounding Tampa Bay area, and provides a fun chance for anyone looking for eclectic vintage gifts (not "stuffy" antiques) for the holiday season. This year's Retro-Rama will again offer great retro holiday tunes and a cash bar all day, with a special appearance by Bill T. & Friends playing phenomenal, authentic cool jazz and blues from 12pm to 4pm. This talented quartet is an event in itself, so plan on a leisurely day of exploring the vintage fun at the 2005 Retro-Rama Antiques & Collectibles Show. The show is always rockin' and as usual there'll be many happy feet dancing their way down the shopping asiles!

The historic Gulfport Casino is located at 5500 Shore Blvd., directly on the shores of Boca Ciega Bay, at the intersection of Shore and Beach Boulevard in Gulfport (southern St. Petersburg). Free parking is available in the beachfront parking lots. Admission is $5.00, and $3.00 for children under 2 years. The shows are produced and managed by Hula Hula Productions.
