Sci-Fi Book Signing & Gallery Show Wednesday 1/18, Hollywood

This might be of interest for anyone that is a fan of Sci-Fi. Alec Gillis and his partner Tom Woodruff are signing copies of the 2 books they wrote:
Alien vs Predator: The creature effects of ADI
Worlds: A mission of discovery.

These are the guys that did the creature effects on AVP and Aliens and not only built the Mother Alien (on a crane, no less!), but Tom is the tall skinny dude in the Alien suit in some shots (keeping suit-mation alive!) They will also have a gallery show of props and creatures they've built.

The event is happening this Wednesday, Jan. 18 (tomorrow) between 6-9pm at Meltdown Comics
in Hollywood (a large, well-located comics and toy store with a gallery space).
