Far From Heaven

Folks on this list who are into 50's design must check out this film. Not only is it shot in the oversaturated Technicolor style of the Sirk films of the 50s, the interiors (especially the Magnatech office) are fantastically recreated. The furniture is wonderful, and, I'm not sure, but Julianne Moore's character has a friend who has a home bar that looks a bit tiki. It's only shown for a second, but check it out.

It's also a good film.

I liked the film from a stylistic standpoint but not from a plot/storyline standpoint. I spent the whole time coveting all the furniture, cars and clothes!
